Cookie Policy
What JustCaster stores on your device, why, and how to change your choices.
Last updated: 23 September 2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage in your browser, work in the same way, and this policy covers them too.
Our approach
justcaster.com uses no advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Only what is strictly necessary is stored without your consent. Anything optional would be set only after you accept it.
What this website stores
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| jc_seen | Session storage (essential) | Remembers that the opening animation has already been shown, so it is not repeated on every page | Until you close the tab |
No analytics or advertising cookie is used on this website today. If we add audience measurement later, it will appear in this table and a banner will ask for your consent first.
What the application stores
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| jc_session | Cookie (essential) | Keeps you logged in to your JustCaster account | Session, or 30 days with “keep me logged in” |
| jc_csrf | Cookie (essential) | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Session |
| jc_prefs | Local storage (functional) | Remembers interface choices such as language, calendar view and selected brand | Until you clear your browser data |
Third-party content
Fonts, scripts, styles and images on this website are hosted on our own servers, so browsing it sets no third-party cookie. When you connect a social account, the platform's own login window may place its own cookies; those are governed by that platform's policy.
Managing your choices
Because this website only uses essential storage, there is no cookie banner today. If we add optional cookies, a banner and a “Cookie settings” link in the footer will let you accept, refuse and change your mind at any time.
- Your browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear local storage.
- Blocking essential cookies prevents you from logging in to the application.
Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever the cookies or storage we use change. The date at the top of the page shows the last update.
